1] 17 Reasons to watch and love Psych. I disagree with one of them, of course, and would alter one a bit. ;D but other than that, how about HELL YES PSYCH OMG LOVE.
2] I went to The Cousins today, as stated, and we all went to see A Christmas Carol. We went to their house first 'cause my mom didn't know how to get to Newport, so we followed Ben. and uh, she was clearly distracted and I was turned in my seat talking to Destini, and my mom missed a turn, so she pulled into a bank to turn around but there was a sign that said no u-turns and um, a small CLIFF WE ALMOST WENT OVER. it was crazy and scary and me, Destini and Kailin were cracking up hysterically for ten minutes after. Des texted Ben saying she was trying to kill us all.
3] the movie was WEIRD. good, and Kara was singing along with the music, and funny, but weiiiiird. and kinda creepy. XD also, there was some douche in a row further down that kept playing with their ipod touch or something, so there was this brightass light through half the flick. I wanted to go down there and break it.
4] afterwards, my mom and I ate at some Italian place AND THEY HAD CREME BRULEE. MY LIFESBLOOD OMG HOW I MISSED YOOOOOU!!!!!! um, it was good.
5] she also apparently bought the Glee soundtrack even though a) she doesn't watch the show and b) I HAVE most of the music already. way to save money, mother.
6] I totally forgot today was registration, thanks to my actually leaving the house! I AM OFFICIALLY REGISTERED FOR bitchinparty!!! :D :D :D I get to see people I love!! <3 yay for FOREVER.
7] it was too hot today. :(
8] random people wanted to see my hair, even though it's just.. shorter than before, but whatever. I straighted it today so it actually looks okay, so here you go. ( ;P )
9] oh, right. almost forgot; Ruth found out she's having a boy, so I'll have another nephew in March.

Name: MayeB. Location: Illinois How you first heard about the Bee: I first REALLY heard of it when a counselor from my camp played me pandemonium, but it clicked when I was looking up Jenni Barber (who played Olive). I now an a HUGE fan and devote much of my free time to this cause. Favorite Song: I LOVE Pandemonium and I Speak Six Languages, though I know all the words to the entire soundtrack. Favorite Actress: Most definitely Jenni Barber and Deborah S. Craig (though they were in two different productions). Other Random facts: Though my parents would not take me to see the play, my best friend has gone and I pester her all the time to tell me about it. I should think I know most of the lines by heart. I can sing the 6 Languages song pretty well and I know all of the choreography. I got down on my hands and knees and begged out musical director to take the class (we do a field trip to a play every year), but she said no, because there are going to be some kids under 13 and they fell it is not appropriate.

Obviously, White Collar is awesome, but all I have to say is how happy I was to catch a detail in the beginning. Neal's coffee cup had the rim all bitten/chewed/screwed up. I do that ALL THE TIIIIME. :D
that was not a spoiler, okay.
tomorrow is movie day with The Cousins!

i upset a boy because i had to do my homework. he acts like i'm leaving him all high and dry, like it's the last time he will ever see me in his life, like maybe, i owe him something. i don't. i eat his adderall and take the presents he gives me in a little bag. the perks of consorting with petty drug dealers. there are also downsides but i keep him at a distance and i call him when i want. i have my way with him, not really keeping his heart in mind (if that's even in the picture) -- i feel like once they hurt me i never forget.

| Unpopular Opinions? |
[November 05, 2009 @ 10:09pm] |

I got this idea from an entry in another community, and thought it could be fun doing this here, XF related. Do you have any opinions about the X-Files that are, generally, unpopular? Think you're the only one who loves (or hates) a certain character? Never found anyone who also enjoys watching your favourite episode? Share your unpopular opinions! :)

THANK YOU, MOM AND DAD, FOR LAMINATING MY SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WAY BACK WHEN I WAS BORN, IGNORING THE 'DO NOT LAMINATE' PRINTED ACROSS IT, SO THAT I CAN BE TURNED AWAY FROM THE BMV AND NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE MY FUCKING WRITTEN TEST EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK ME THREE YEARS TO GET TO THE POINT WHERE I WANTED TO TAKE IT. IT'S NOT LIKE THIS WILL SET ME BACK ANOTHER YEAR BEFORE I GIVE A FUCK ENOUGH TO TRY AGAIN. THANK YOU, DEAR PARENTS FOR CAUSING THIS.

Today has pretty much sucked so far, and as I have therapy this evening and it always makes me feel emotionally wrung out and like shit, IT CAN ONLY GET WORSE.
Anyway.
Have a meme:
Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any story I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.
***
I am going to try and actually get some writing done today? I know, I'm shocked too. And I need to remember to do laundry when I get home, or else I won't have anything to wear to inocciduous's house.
***
I had a dream that krabapple and I scored tickets to what was essentially the television up-fronts for next season. Except all the networks were broadcasting at once and it was in a high school auditorium. We were there specifically to see the NCIS panel. It was weird.
***
Okay, back to work.

Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.
Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.

This was originally written for xf_bigbang , but it never got quite long enough. (You should still go check out that challenge now - there's some really good stuff there!)
Title: Accidents of Faith and Nature Classification: XRA Keywords: Mulder/Scully UST Spoilers: S5. Mild spoilers for “Schizogeny”. Rating: PG-13 Summary: “So, Scully, you reckon Harding and his girlfriend were attacked by vampire bats and poppies out there in the bog?” Mulder asked. Disclaimer: I don't own this show or any characters from it. Jarvis and the other officers are mine. Author's Note: This fic would not have been possible without a lot of help from aloysiavirgata and hankmoodyblues. Thank you very much for taking my rough, rough drafts and helping to make them better. Feedback: Please! That would be awesome. You can send it to me at glace_aux_fraises@hotmail.com , or post a comment here or at my journal.

okay, so I finally watched the latest episode of Flashpoint and ( cut for spoilers and also my crazy gushing that no one else will agree with :D )
the point, again, is that Ed is awesome and makes me happy, and a bonus point is that this episode made me think of DC and a certain RP I am currently doing, and also that I am easy. hi and bye, folks! I will stop spamming now.
(oh, and point the last is that I got like 4 hours of sleep last night, so maybe this rambling doesn't even make sense. oops?)
